ASEANA Asian Gardens of Shreveport

Located at the intersection of Texas Avenue and Milam Street in downtown Shreveport, the ASEANA Asian Gardens of Shreveport are open daily from sunrise until sunset. The park’s tiered plaza celebrates Asian cultures including Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Myanmar, Laos, Korea, and Burma with fifteen beautifully landscaped flower beds as well as cultural features including statuary, sculptures, pagodas, and blossoming trees. Founded and maintained by a volunteer-run nonprofit, the ASEANA Asian Gardens of Shreveport are located only a short distance from many of Shreveport Common’s most popular destinations including Central ARTSTATION, Shreveport Municipal Auditorium, The Strand Theatre, and Andress Artist and Entrepreneur Center. The park hosts a biannual festival featuring Asian cuisine, music, martial arts, and dance each spring and autumn during the gardens’ peak bloom.
