Architects, designers, entrepreneurs, creatives, neighbors, and the community are invited to Re-Imagine 959 Texas Ave. in Shreveport Common. At 11:00 am the American Institute for Architects and Shreveport Common, Inc. will host an information session, site visit, and community charette/listening session. Be sure to attend to tell us what you want to see in the area AND learn more about a 959 Texas Ave. Design & Use Contest, including how to enter, selection criteria and deadline.

Re-Discover Shreveport Common
-Hop on - Hop Off Trolley Guided Tours of Historic Buildings
Next, Re-Discover Shreveport Common. Visit the historic, newly redeveloped, newly built and coming soon spaces and places in the 9-blocks of Shreveport Common. From 1:00 – 3:00 pm, two Hop On-Hop Off trolley/shuttles with tour guides will take you around the area. 15 building owners and architects will be on hand to tell you about the architecture, history, and future plans. Stops include buildings on Texas Ave. and Austen Place, Crockett Street and Cotton Street, Louisiana St. and Milam. Artists will be performing, creative listening sessions will continue at 959 Texas Ave. and MS KICK Incubator Kitchen will be open.
